Richard trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with a first class honours degree in June
2006. Whilst at Mountview, he was nominated for the 2006 Spotlight Prize and was a commended finalist in the
2006 BBC Carlton Hobbs Radio Competition.

Originally from Blackpool in Lancashire, Richard's theatre credits include

The Threepenny Opera (Lyric, Hammersmith) and Murder in the Cathedral (Southwark Cathedral and

in the
Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games directed by Academy Award winning director
Danny Boyle.

Alongside his professional work, Richard plays for the Arsenal Charity Football Team.  Made up of ex-pros and
celebrities, the team plays exhibition matches all over the UK, raising money for numerous charitable causes.
